Refund Policy

Anchorline Freight LLC

Effective Date: September 30, 2026

Anchorline Freight LLC (“Anchorline Freight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) strives to provide reliable transportation and logistics services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, deposits, and transportation-related charges are handled.

Because transportation services are scheduled and may involve drivers, equipment, fuel, routing, and other costs, refunds may depend on when a cancellation occurs and whether services have already been provided.

1. Transportation Services

Transportation services are generally quoted based on the specific shipment and requested services.

A quote may include factors such as:

  • Distance and mileage

  • Freight type

  • Freight weight and dimensions

  • Equipment requirements

  • Pickup and delivery requirements

  • Number of stops

  • Fuel costs

  • Special handling

  • Waiting time

  • Detention

  • Expedited service

  • Other accessorial charges

A quote does not necessarily constitute a final charge until the shipment and requested services have been confirmed.

2. Cancellations

Customers who need to cancel a shipment or transportation service should contact Anchorline Freight as soon as possible.

Cancellation charges may apply depending on:

  • How much notice is provided

  • Whether a driver has already been dispatched

  • Whether equipment has been assigned

  • Whether pickup or transportation services have begun

  • Non-refundable expenses incurred by Anchorline Freight

  • Charges imposed by third-party transportation providers

  • Other costs associated with the shipment

Any applicable cancellation charges will be communicated to the customer when reasonably possible.

3. Refunds

If a customer has paid for transportation services that are subsequently canceled or not provided, Anchorline Freight will review the circumstances to determine whether a refund is applicable.

When a refund is approved, the amount refunded may be reduced by:

  • Applicable cancellation fees

  • Services already performed

  • Non-refundable third-party charges

  • Processing fees that cannot be recovered

  • Other costs already incurred in connection with the shipment

Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible.

4. Non-Refundable Services and Expenses

Certain charges may be non-refundable when costs have already been incurred.

These may include, depending on the circumstances:

  • Dispatch fees

  • Driver or carrier charges

  • Equipment reservation charges

  • Third-party transportation charges

  • Special handling charges

  • Expedited-service charges

  • Services already performed

  • Certain payment-processing charges

  • Other documented expenses incurred specifically for the shipment

Any applicable non-refundable charge should be disclosed to the customer when reasonably possible.

5. Failed Pickup or Delivery

If a shipment cannot be picked up or delivered because of circumstances outside Anchorline Freight's reasonable control, additional charges may apply.

Examples may include:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address information

  • Customer or consignee unavailable

  • Lack of access to the pickup or delivery location

  • Freight not being ready

  • Incorrect freight information

  • Unsafe loading or delivery conditions

  • Excessive waiting time

  • Customer-requested changes

  • Refusal of delivery

  • Road closures or other transportation restrictions

Depending on the circumstances, these situations may not qualify for a refund.

6. Delays and Service Interruptions

Transportation schedules are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control, including:

  • Weather

  • Traffic

  • Accidents

  • Road closures

  • Mechanical problems

  • Government restrictions

  • Natural disasters

  • Labor disruptions

  • Delays at pickup or delivery locations

  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

A transportation delay does not automatically create a right to a refund.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays and coordinate an appropriate resolution.

7. Customer-Requested Changes

Changes to a shipment after confirmation may result in additional charges.

Examples include changes to:

  • Pickup location

  • Delivery location

  • Delivery date or time

  • Freight dimensions or weight

  • Number of shipments

  • Number of stops

  • Equipment requirements

  • Handling requirements

Any additional charges will be communicated when reasonably possible.

8. Overpayments

If a customer makes an overpayment, Anchorline Freight may issue a refund or apply the overpayment toward another outstanding balance, subject to applicable law and the customer's agreement.

9. Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Anchorline Freight before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that we have an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.

Nothing in this section limits a customer's rights under applicable law or the rules of the applicable payment provider.
